In my opinion, in life there are two types of people: the ones who believe in free will, and the ones who don't believe on it.
The ones who believe in free will, think that in the different situations of life we have several options to choose what to do, so we are the responsibles of making the things happen, whether they are good or wrong. We are not meant to do the things we are suppose to do, we are free to choose what we really want our life to be.
However, the other group think that destiny really exists, so it doesn´t mind what you do, things will happen to you in the same way they were "written in our story, or life". Things just happen because they were meant to be, not because of our choices.
